FAQs

Here are answers to some of the most common questions we receive. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to contact us.

Bible Studies

We primarily use the ESV translation in our studies. Occasionally, we reference other translations, such as CSB, NASB, NLT, or NIV, for specific verses. However, you can easily use your preferred Bible translation for any of our resources.

These studies are written for ages 5 and older. It's written in a way so that families of all ages can learn together. We include recommended Bible reading with a "dive deeper" section so older children and adults can read more on the related topics. Ideally, these studies will be repeated more than once so you and your children can retain more information each time you work through it.

Yes! We love for you to try our studies before purchasing. You can download free samples of our studies HERE.

Theology

You can read our complete statement of faith here

We are non-denominational. We create our resources so that they can be used within different Christian denominations while ensuring they uphold all core doctrines of the Christian faith. You can read our core beliefs here. For topics that may differ between denominations, we aim to present the differing perspectives so that you can discuss them as a family.

Yes, we are a Christian family and company who believes in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We uphold the Bible as the ultimate authority and strive to live in a way that brings honor and glory to God.

At Driven By Grace, we use a framework called theological triage (inspired by Albert Mohler) to guide how we handle certain topics, when necessary, within our studies.

It is important to note that placing doctrines in the categories of secondary and tertiary issues doesn’t mean they aren’t important. It simply acknowledges that these are topics where faithful Christians can hold different views while still maintaining unity in the body of Christ.

Here are some examples of theological triage:

✅ First-Order (Primary) Doctrines — These are essential to the Christian faith. Denial of these doctrines is a departure from Christianity. Examples include:

• The Trinity
• The full deity and humanity of Jesus Christ
• The authority of Scripture
• Salvation through faith alone by God's grace
• Jesus’ death and bodily resurrection
• The Second Coming of Jesus Christ

✅ Second-Order (Secondary) Doctrines — These are important for church life and practice. Disagreements here often lead to denominational differences. Examples include:

• Church government
• Baptism (who to baptize and how)
• Women's role in ministry
• Spiritual gifts

✅ Third-Order (Tertiary) Doctrines — Doctrines where Christians can disagree but still maintain close fellowship, even within the same congregation. Examples include:

• End-times views (eschatology)
• Views on election, predestination, and free will

Our resources aim to keep unity within the body of Christ while upholding all core (primary/essential) doctrines of the Christian faith. For topics that vary among denominations, we aim to present different perspectives (when applicable) so families can study and discuss them together.
