Our studies are designed to work well for children from kindergarten through high school. They’re truly family-friendly, offering something meaningful for every age group to learn and grow. Plus, you can easily adapt the reading and lesson plans to fit your children’s ages and learning needs. Many parents even tell us they’re learning just as much—if not more—than their kids!
While starting with Volume 1 will give you a solid understanding of the first five books of the Bible (Genesis through Deuteronomy)—which lay the foundation for the rest of the Old Testament—it’s not required to go in order. Each lesson stands on its own, so feel free to begin with any volume that covers the topics you’re most interested in learning more about.
You’ll need your own Bible for the daily recommended reading. Occasionally, we include verses from the ESV, CSB, NIV, or NLT translations, but you’re welcome to use your preferred Bible translation throughout the study.
No. While these studies do pair perfectly with CC’s optional Bible memory work, you don’t have to be in the program to use them. They’re written for any Christian family who wants to learn more about God’s Word.
