What age is this good for?
This study works well with children from kindergarten through high school. It’s truly a family-style study for all ages to glean from. You also have the flexibility to adjust the reading and lesson plans according to your children's ages.
Do I have to do the studies in order?
Reading the books in order is not necessary as each lesson is independent and can be understood on its own. Feel free to begin with any volume that delves into the topics you are most interested in.
Does this study pair with Classical Conversations?
You don't need to be part of Classical Conversations to do this study. It was designed as a supplement to the CC Cycle 2 optional Bible memory work; however, any Christian family can benefit from this study!

I got this for my daughter next year and it's so beautifully done I can't wait to start. It is a good way to start diving further into the bible for my daughter! As soon as it came she wanted to start it!
We are just now through the first week and love it so far! I keep getting a little confused on some of the verses and how they're written out. It looks like Judges 6:1-8:35, to me it looks like chapter 6 verses 1-8 and then either also verse 35 or chapter 8:35. I'm not sure which way its supposed to be read!' Other than that we adore it so far! Kids have asked every day is it time to do our Bible study yet 🥰
Hi April, thanks so much for your review! To answer your question, Judges 6:1–8:35 means you’ll read from Judges chapter 6, verse 1, all the way through chapter 8, verse 35. I hope that helps clarify! Some of the judges’ stories span several chapters in the Bible.
As expected. Ordered Foundations of the Bible Volume 2 to continue with our Bible Curriculum for next year and everything I see it is just perfect. We are still finishing Vol. I and even we don’t do CC it’s exactly what my family needed. It gives my family consistency, starts great conversations, resources are excellent and we are going through the main events of the Bible in chronological order. It’s great.
Books are well made and subject will be easy to follow to teach with. The company is exceptional!
My family is loving this study so far. My daughters are 9 and 11. We read the teacher page together and watch any video first. Then I read the scripture aloud while they draw or write a few notes. We opted to just do notebooks instead of activity books for their age. We are all learning so much! My husband does the readings on his lunch break at work, and is ready to discuss further at dinner.
